Last Updated: Nov 17, 2014 04:04PM PST
The Assets class provides methods for storing, retrieving, and managing digital media assets within the system.
Activate Asset
Use this API action to activate an asset. An activated asset is available for viewing via Squeeze Stream embed codes, permalink pages, etc.
Add Asset Tag
Add a tag to an asset. Tags are user-defined descriptive keywords.
Create Asset
Use this API action to create a new asset. This is most commonly used to create a source file as part of a transcoding workflow. When creating a new asset, you can specify an external location (FTP, HTTP, S3) from which the asset can be imported.
Deactivate Asset
Use this API action to deactivate an asset. Deactivated assets are unavailable for viewing via Squeeze Stream embed codes, permalinks, etc.
Delete Asset
Use this API action to delete an asset. Deleted assets are moved to the "Trash" folder in your Squeeze Stream account and thus still consume storage space.
Empty Asset Trash
Use this API action to empty the contents of your Trash folder. This action permanently deletes any assets that have been previously moved to the Trash via the "Delete Asset" API action.
Get Asset
Use this API action to retrieve asset information.
Get Asset Embed Code List
Use this API action to retrieve a list of embed codes in various sizes and resolutions for a given asset.
Get Asset List
Use this API action to get a list of assets for the account.
Update Asset
Use this API action to update information for an asset.
