Using Multi-Track Audio Source Files

Last Updated: May 10, 2016 04:51PM PDT
Squeeze Server 4 supports MOV source files that contain multiple audio tracks. Squeeze Server 4 also allows you to encode those tracks when exporting to MP4 output files.

The most common workflow requested with this feature is multi-language track support but can be used in other scenarios as well.

Follow these steps to import a multiple audio track source file:
  1. Create a New Job or Watch Folder
  2. Check the box labeled "Encode all audio tracks (QuickTime/MP4 source, MP4 output)
  3. Specify your Source Location to your .MOV source file containing multiple audio tracks
  4. Select your desired MP4 Preset(s)
  5. Specify your Destination Location
  6. Squeeze It! or finish Creating Watch Folder
  7. Your output file(s) will contain separate audio tracks, same as your source file(s)
