Constraining File Size

Last Updated: Apr 25, 2014 01:24PM PDT
If you would like to constrain your output file to a specific file size you can use the Constrain File Size option after applying your preset to your source file.

Double-click the applied preset and you will see a new field in the preset options called "Constrain File Size." Checking this will allow you to set the final file size of your output video (in kilobytes - KB) by changing the audio and video data rates based on the duration of your source file. (This is why it must be applied to your source file before this option becomes available in the preset settings.)
